Each year, Luke Air Force Base averages about 100 noise complaints. The Air Force has protocol for reporting excessive noise or over flights.
To properly file a complaint regarding noise or over flight, use the link below to access the appropriate form.
Write down the time, date, location, direction of flight, number of aircraft and description (for example: one or two tails, color, jet or propeller). Submit the form to 56fw.pauc@luke.af.mil, or call in the information to the 56th Fighter Wing Public Affairs Office at (623) 856-5853,
Officials log the noise complaints into a database and review them. Most noise complaints are from areas in the direct flight paths of Luke jets and are typically in areas where routine flying operations occur.
The Air Force will investigate complaints that indicate something out of the ordinary occurred and will prevent it from happening again, if there was a violation of directives. [Additional info...]
