MONDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 2009 – 6:00 P.M.

 

Members of the El Mirage City Council will attend either in person or by telephone conference call.

Note:  The Common Council of the City of El Mirage, by a duly passed motion, may vote in public session to adjourn to executive session on any agenda item in conformation with A.R.S. Section 38.431.03 including legal advice from the City Attorney.

III.           SPECIAL SESSION

 

A.   Executive Session. The Council may consider and vote to convene in executive session to discuss the possible appointment of Frances V. Acosta, Hugh Flisyn, Mary Koestner, Ben Lewis, James McPhetres or Anthony Rodriguez to the vacant seat on the El Mirage City Council, the term for which expires December 2010. (A.R.S. § 38-431.01(A)(1))

 

B.   Appointment to Vacant Seat on the El Mirage City Council.  Consideration and possible action to fill the vacant Councilor seat caused by the resignation of former Mayor Fred Waterman and the naming of Councilor and Vice-Mayor Kern as Mayor, for the remainder of Councilor Kern’s term of office which expires December 2010.
